Koscielny to skip Arsenal US tour as France beckons

GLYN KIRK / AFP

Laurent Koscielny says he won’t be part of Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the US.

It comes as the Gunners’ captain eyes a move to France.

French clubs Bordeaux, Rennes and Lyon have all expressed interest in the defender.

The 33-year-old’s Arsenal contract expires at the end of the 2019-20 season.

Arsenal say they are “very disappointed” by Koscielny's decisions.
