Kolkata Knight Riders beat Delhi Daredevils by nine wickets in last night’s IPL cricket action. Andre Russell and Brad Hogg took three wickets apiece, with Quinton de Kock and Shreyas Iyer both going in the third over to Russell, whilst last week’s World Twenty20 hero, Carlos Braithwaite, was out for just six. Kolkata then went on to skittle Delhi for just 98 runs. In response, a 69-run opening partnership between Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa set Kolkata on their way. They then eased to the victory target 35 deliveries to spare, with Gambhir top scoring on 38 not out.
