The Aussies earlier declared their first innings on 551 for 3, with four of their batsmen scoring centuries. Usman Khawaja top scored with 144, opener Joe Burns hit 128, Adam Voges was unbeaten on 106 and skipper Steve Smith struck an unbeaten 134.
