Pakistan defeated India by five wickets during the thrilling Asia Cup Super-4 clash at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 182, Pakistan remained in control from the beginning with Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Nawaz forming a strong partnership.
India posted a total of 181 for seven in 20 overs, with Virat Kohli scoring a brilliant 60 off 44 balls. Team India openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul set the pace for India, collecting 54 runs in the first five overs. The duo also achieved the landmark of having the most 50-plus partnerships in the history of T20Is.
Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and opted to bowl.
