New Zealand have beaten Wales 40-17 taking third place in the Rugby World Cup In Japan.

The All Blacks dominated for most of the game.

NZ head coach Steve Hansen ended his career on a high as he steps down as Head Coach.

It was also the final Test for Captain Kieran Read, alongside other departing veterans Ben Smith, Ryan Crotty and Sonny Bill Williams.

Meanwhile, winger Josh Adams became outright top scorer for Wales in a single tournament, after scoring his seventh try of the World Cup.

It takes him one ahead of Shane Williams' tally in 2007.
