More sporting activities in Abu Dhabi will be allowed to resume under strict safety measures.

That's according to the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, which approved individual training activities in martial arts and self-defence at private clubs to resume.

Children below the age of 12 will also be allowed to undertake individual training in tennis, cycling, cricket and golf, as long as it's being carried out in "open spaces".

Swimming at public and private clubs has also got the green light.
