Qatar's Ministry of Interior has announced that three people have sustained injuries as a result of falling debris from interception operations against Iranian missiles and drones on Sunday.

In a statement, the authority noted that the three injured, who include a child, are receiving the necessary medical care.

It also affirmed that its forces initiated their response procedures in accordance with the approved emergency plans following the Iranian attacks.

The ministry also clarified that its national public safety and emergency alerts are activated "only when circumstances require the implementation of additional urgent precautionary measures to safeguard public safety".

It further urged the public to obtain information solely from official sources and to refrain from circulating rumours or sharing unverified information, images, or video clips to avoid legal accountability.
