Saudi Arabia has started operating airports at full capacity for international and domestic flights.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said that the Kingdom would use the entire capacity of its airports from Sunday, October 17.

It added that travellers' immunisation status will continue to be checked through the 'Tawakkalna' COVID-19 contact tracing app.

Earlier today, Saudi Arabia announced its decision to ease several COVID-19 restrictions following a sharp drop in daily caseloads and an increase in vaccination rates.
