North Korea sends message to "South Korean warmongers"

North Korea says it tested two new missiles on Thursday to send a "solemn warning" against "South Korean warmongers".

The short-range missiles were shot into the Sea of Japan from North Korea's east coast.

Speaking to state media after the launch, Kim Jong-un said the territory had to develop weapons in order to "eliminate potential and direct threats".

North Korea has also spoke about against a decision by South Korea and the USA to hold joint military drills next month.
