Israel will not supply water or fuel to Gaza until hostages are released

Israel said it will not provide any humanitarian aid or resources to the Gaza Strip until Hamas releases the 150 people it took hostage during the weekend attack.

In a statement, Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz confirmed they will not provide water, fuel, or electricity until the hostages are released.

"An electric switch will not be turned on, a water tap will not open, and a fuel truck will not enter until the kidnapped Israelis return to their homes," he said.

On Monday, Israel ordered a "complete siege" on the Gaza Strip, including cutting off water and electricity.

Violence on the border between Israel and Lebanon flared up for a fourth day on Wednesday with Israeli shelling hitting southern Lebanese towns in response to a fresh rocket attack by Hezbollah.
