India tries again to launch lunar mission

India will attempt to launch its second lunar mission later on Monday.

The original blastoff for Chandrayaan-2 was called off last week an hour before liftoff because of a technical issue.

However the country's space agency will try again at 2:43 pm local time today.

If it's successful, Chandrayaan-2 will be the first mission to land on the Moon's south pole.

The projects costs just under AED 551 million.
