The Kuwaiti Fire Force has announced that fire crews succeeded in controlling two fires that broke out in separate locations across the country due to Iranian attacks, with one site injuring several firefighters and an oil sector worker.

The official spokesperson for the Public Fire Force, Brigadier General Mohammed Badar Ibrahim, stated that the injuries were due to the site being targeted again during the firefighting operations.

He added that those injured received first aid and were handed over to the medical emergency teams before being transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Ibrahim noted that five fire crews participated in the first site, with support from the oil sector's fire teams, while three fire crews participated in the second site.

The Brigadier also revealed that firefighters extinguished three separate fires that broke out due to shrapnel falling in several residential areas, with the damages limited to material losses and no injuries recorded.
