At least 19 people have been killed in a motor crash involving a fuel truck and three cars in Uganda's western district.
According to reports, the fuel tanker exploded after losing control and ramming into the cars.
Flames from the blast tore through at least 25 shops nearby.
Ten people died on the spot, while nine more succumbed to their wounds in the hospital.
Authorities said the bodies have been transported to a nearby health centre "for further post-mortem analysis and DNA profiling".
