Countdown begins as Global Village reveals Season 31 highlights

With less than a week to go before its return, Global Village has revealed a range of attractions, dining concepts and entertainment experiences for Season 31.

The destination will bring together more than 90 cultures across 29 pavilions, alongside over 3,500 shopping outlets offering products, traditions and flavours from around the world.

Visitors can also look forward to refreshed pavilion experiences, including updated Sri Lanka, Russia and Azerbaijan pavilions, while the Syria and Kuwait pavilions return with renewed façades.

Several of the destination's landmarks have also been enhanced, including the Gardens of the World, the iconic Cultural Gate and the Sharjah tunnel entrance.

Food lovers will have more than 250 dining options to choose from, with new concepts and restaurant and cafe additions. The popular Dessert District has also been given a fresh new look.

Season 31 will feature more than 200 attractions, including family entertainment, immersive experiences and thrill rides.

Later in the season, visitors can look forward to the launch of Tokyo Rush, a new roller coaster designed for adrenaline seekers.

Entertainment remains a major draw, with 40,000 shows planned throughout the season.

New additions include the stunt show Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back and the anchor productions Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist, while fan favourites such as Slam, Care Bears and PJ Masks will return.

To enhance the guest experience, Global Village is also introducing a range of operational improvements, including a new WhatsApp chatbot, upgraded parking services, expanded family facilities and improved signage across the destination.

Season 31 opens at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14.

For the rest of the season, opening hours will run from 4:00 PM to midnight, Sunday through Wednesday, and from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday and on public holidays.

Tickets are priced at AED 25 on weekdays and AED 30 from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, with tickets available through the Global Village website and mobile app, as well as at the gates.
