5 Lives Saved
Raising awareness about organ donation and providing after-care for donor families have become Nathalie Grall-Sorensen's advocacy.

Her son Viggo Sorensen was only 17 and was one of the most promising members of the UAE’s golfing community when he sadly passed away in January 2022.

Nathalie says she's at peace knowing Viggo has saved five lives because of his organs.

Psychological terms we misuse

Gaslighting and narcissist are just some of the terms we often hear, read and misunderstand. So we call in Dr Thoraiya Kanafani from the Human Relations Institute and Clinics to expain these, starting with the frequently misused 'OCD'.

'The Good Nurse' who put a serial killer behind bars

What would you do if you're placed in a situation where you need to choose between doing what's right and putting yourself in danger?

That's the kind of crossroad Amy Loughren encountered years ago. She chose the harder, BUT undoubtedly, the right way.

Loughren became a crucial part of the detective team that put her friend, fellow nurse, and serial killer Charles Cullen behind bars. Nicknamed the "Angel of Death," Cullen used different medications to poison patients, eventually leading to their death. During his 16-year career, he worked in about nine hospitals. He eventually admitted to murdering 29 patients while attempting to kill six more.

A book written about how Amy helped capture the killer called 'The Good Nurse' became the inspiration for a movie with the same title, starring Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne.

Amy tells Helen what happened when she last saw Cullen and if her incomparable experience created long-lasting trust issues.

This week's Legal Clinic on #AWHF was inundated with questions on employment, leave, unemployment insurance scheme. We received this very unfortunate one, but lawyer Elodie Chalhoub from Clyde & Co says, employees who are experiencing salary deductions without a formal notification are far more protected than they might realise.
