Private schools and universities in Dubai have the option to switch to distance learning on Fridays during Ramadan.
According to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), schools can decide to offer remote learning depending on feedback from parents.
Early childhood centres can also opt for distance learning if it's suitable for their parent community.
The KHDA added that "education institutions may decide on the most suitable place of work for all staff on Fridays during Ramadan".
In the spirit of togetherness, a directive from UAE & Dubai governments allows remote working for the public sector on Fridays during Ramadan. Schools & universities will consult with their communities to see if distance learning on Fridays is a suitable option for them. pic.twitter.com/B8LoEfObnF
