Ten new speed radars have been installed in Ras Al Khaimah. These are placed on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street, Major General Bader Street, Khet Street, Filah Street, Mohammed bin Salem Street, Rams Road and on Khwair Street. Aside from speeding, the new radars can also record vehicles jumping red signals, ignoring safety spaces and committing lane violations. An additional 24 cameras have also been installed at various intersections across the emirate.
