Emirates’ flights from Johannesburg will remain suspended until April 30, in line with government directives restricting the entry of travellers originating from South Africa into the UAE.
Daily passenger flights to the city will operate as EK763, however, outbound passenger services on EK764 will not resume for now.
In a statement on the carrier's website, the airline expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
It says customers who have been to, or connected through South Africa in the last 14 days, will not be permitted on any Emirates flights bound for Dubai.
Affected customers should contact their travel agent or Emirates for rebooking options, and check the latest COVID-19 travel advice.
