Andy Murray has confirmed that he will not compete in the singles at this year's US Open.
It comes after the former world number one lost to France's Richard Gasquet at the Cincinnati Masters.
The match was Murray's first singles encounter since he underwent a massive hip surgery in January.
Murray won the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in 2017.
