The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open will celebrate its fifth edition when the WTA 500 tournament returns to the UAE capital from January 30 to February 6, 2027.
The eight-day event will be held at the International Tennis Centre at Zayed Sports City, with 28 singles players and 16 doubles teams set to compete.
A $1.2 million prize fund and valuable WTA ranking points will be on offer.
The tournament has continued to grow since its launch, with more than 60,000 people attending in 2026.
Alongside the on-court action, the event will feature entertainment and community programmes aimed at engaging young players, schools, families and the wider community.
Organisers say the tournament has developed beyond the tennis itself, with its tournament village becoming a gathering point for fans, young players and families.
The fifth edition will continue that focus while bringing another international field of women’s tennis players to Abu Dhabi.
