Global Village has moved within touching distance of breaking 25 Guinness World Records in honour of its Silver Jubilee anniversary.
The multicultural family destination is now just two attempts away from this vision becoming a reality, having claimed a 23rd title on Tuesday, April 27.
The park created a mosaic that read "100,000,000 meals," using 2,500 lanterns in support of the food drive recently launched by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).
This latest Guinness World Record attempt delighted Global Village guests as the lanterns used to create the 100,000,000 meals message were distributed free of charge.
Global Village hopes that this activation will encourage its large fan base to contribute to the region's largest food drive.
Ramadan is a time of giving and we dedicated our 23rd Guinness World Record to the #100MillionMeals initiative. The 2,500 Ramadan lanterns were given to guests who were also encouraged to donate to the cause. #GVWOW pic.twitter.com/Ab2aFRasAW

With just 3 days left before the venue closes for the summer on Sunday May 2, Global Village aficionados don’t have much time left to get the perfect Eid gift or enjoy very special Ramadan Nights.
The season has been an exciting one and as a fitting conclusion to the Silver Jubilee anniversary, the 25th and last record attempt will be spectacular!
Guests will be able to witness this final attempt on Sunday, May 2 from 9:00 pm.
