UAE enters Guinness Book for largest sports medal

The UAE has entered the Guinness Book of Records for the largest sports medal in the world.

The medal, which weights over 68.5 kilograms and measures 2.56, was received by Dr. Obaid Al-Ketbi.

"This achievement enhances the culture of initiatives, according to technical standards and foundations, which are based on the evaluation of any achievement and work in order to enter the (Guinness World Records) in a way that reflects the civilized face of the UAE, and the number of opportunities available to the people of the country in creativity and innovation," he said.

Al-Ketbi established Al-Fursan sports team that participated in various local and international sporting events and activities.
