Julia Goerges beat two-time Grand Slam winner, Svetlana Kuznetsova, on a day of shocks at the 2016 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. The German dropped just one game against the No.8 seed, winning 6-love, 6-1 in 55 minutes. She says the match wasn't as straightforward as the score suggests...

In another shock, last year’s beaten finalist, Karolina Pliskova, crashed out to Coco Vandeweghe, losing 7-6, 6-1. The pick of today’s matches sees former world number one, Jelena Jankovic, take on rising star, Belinda Bencic.
