Japan eye fifth AFC Asian Cup title

Japan are aiming to win a record-extending fifth AFC Asian Cup title on Friday.

They face Qatar in the final in Abu Dhabi, having seen their form improve as the tournament has progressed.

After some sluggish performances in the group stage, the Blue Samurai knocked out Saudi Arabia in the last-16 and Vietnam in the quarters before thrashing Iran 3-0 in their semi-final tie.

Kick off at the Zayed Sports City Stadium is at 18:00.
