England hold narrow advantage in Ashes opener

England have a slight advantage after the third day of the opening Ashes test in Birmingham.

Australia have notched up a second innings lead of 34 runs with seven wickets still in hand.

It comes after they bowled the hosts out for a first innings total of 374.

Steven Smith is still at crease unbeaten on 46 along with Travis Head whose on 21.

Day four gets underway at 2 pm UAE time on Sunday.
