UAE President congratulates India on moon landing

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hailed the successful lunar landing of India's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft.

He said this historic achievement "represents a significant leap for collective scientific progress".

Sheikh Mohamed also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India.

India became the fourth nation to successfully land on the moon with its Chandrayaan-3 mission. It is also the first country to land on the moon’s South Pole.
