UAE landmarks light up in solidarity with Russia

In a show of solidarity, the UAE light up its iconic landmarks in the colours of the Russian flag on Saturday evening following the attack at a concert hall in Moscow.

The Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Burj Al Arab, Sheikh Zayed bridge, ADNOC Headquarters and Abu Dhabi Global Market HQ were among those that lit up in red, blue and white.

The attack left 133 people dead and bodies had another 107 critically wounded.

Earlier, the UAE strongly condemned the attack, adding the "permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of international law".
