UAE announces 243 new COVID-19 cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) says 264,300 COVID-19 tests have been carried out over the past 24 hours.

MoHAP has announced 243 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 893,172.

The Ministry added that no COVID-19-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,302.

MoHAP also noted that an additional 602 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 872,271.

There are currently 18,599 active cases in the UAE.
