Dubai education providers announce fee hikes

Two major education providers in the UAE say they will be following KHDA guidelines and raising their fees for the next academic year.

But Dr Saima Rana, Chief Education Officer for GEMS and Principal of GEMS World Academy Dubai, told Dubai Eye 103.8's The Agenda those increases will be invested back into their schools and staff.

Alan Williamson is the CEO of one of the country's biggest school groups, Taleem. Speaking on The Agenda he said it's a challenge for schools to increase their rating in the inspections.

He told The Agenda school fee increases will be decided on a case-by-case basis, but admitted parents at most of their schools will see their fees jump
