Traffic will be halted in phases from 12:00 pm to make way for the 109 km race, which starts at Port Rashid and ends at Dubai Harbour at about 4:30 pm.

The riders will weave through the city passing through Ras al Khor, Meydan Racecourse, Umm Suqeim and Dubai Sports City.

The road closures will also affect parts of Deira, International City, Al Khail Road, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Nad Al Sheba, Hessa Street and King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Street, among others.

The inaugural edition of the Women’s UAE Tour, which runs from February 9-12, features four stages.

It takes place ahead of the fifth edition of the men’s race, which runs from February 20-26.
