Fire in Dubai Marina brought under control

Dubai Civil Defence

Teams from Dubai Civil Defence have brought under control a fire that broke out in a residential tower, Marina Diamond 2 in the Dubai Marina area early Saturday morning.

The Dubai Civil Defence Operations Room received a report at 3:58 am today.

It was found that the accident was the result of a fire in an apartment on the 11th floor and extended to the ninth floor and the 15th floor.

All residents were swiftly evacuated from the premises, and no casualties or injuries were reported.

The Dubai Civil Defence quickly responded and cordoned off the area immediately, and ensured that the fire did not spread to neighbouring areas.

Further investigation is underway, and the Dubai Civil Defence has given residents affected by the temporary housing.
