A new Experts Affairs Committee is being set up to ensure the accuracy of judicial decisions and speed up procedures in Dubai Courts.

It's implementation comes under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to support the judicial system.

The Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, issued the decision to form the Committee.

It will be chaired by Judge Khalid Obaid Al Mansouri, while Judge Khalid Mubarak Kansham becomes the Vice Chairman.

The Managing Director of Dubai Courts, Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, said the Committee aims to speed up legal procedures particularly in specialised cases, as well as further elevate the role of experts in dispensing justice.

The Chairman of the Committee Judge Khalid Obaid Al Mansouri said the establishment of the Committee is part of the leadership’s ongoing efforts to promote equality before the law and excellence in the judicial sector.

The Committee is also responsible for approving the professional qualification examinations and training programmes for experts, as well as reviewing their applications, requests for cancelling or suspending registration, and complaints.
