Dubai Police to hold World Police Summit

Dubai Police will be hosting the first World Police Summit in March 2022.

The summit, organised by the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering at Dubai Police, is the brainchild of Lt. General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police.

The event will bring together speakers representing international police organisations and law enforcement agencies including the INTERPOL, Europol, International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), as well as delegates representing different departments of the UAE Ministry of Interior.

The initiative is in line with the UAE Centennial 2071 in forecasting future challenges and opportunities, especially those posed by modern and rapid technological developments.

Discussion Panels & Workshops

According to Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Assistant Commander-in-chief for Excellence and Pioneering at Dubai Police, the Summit will host five discussion panels covering the topics of Artificial Intelligence & Road Safety, Crime Prevention & Forensics, Police Operations, Drugs, and the Future of Policing.

Conferences & Exhibitions

The most prominent ones will be the Emirates International Forensic Conference and Exhibition, and the Hemaya International Forum organised in partnership with the United Nations to raise and discuss issues related to drugs and drug addiction, and find adequate solutions and methods of prevention.

Accompanying Events

The Dubai Police Academy Grand Graduation Ceremony, the UAE SWAT Challenge 2022, and the Think-Tank Meeting for senior police leaderships.
