Dubai Police helps murder convict reunite with estranged son

Police in Dubai have helped a prisoner serving a life sentence, reconcile with his only son after 11 years.

Officials convinced the man to meet his father, who was convicted of murder in 2008.

The surprise reunion was arranged during the launch of a collection of essays and stories written by the inmates of Dubai prison.

The convict was among those who contributed to the project called Tomorrow, I Will Fly.
