Condolences have been source of comfort: H.H. Sheikh Mohamed

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan says the messages of support and condolences from people around the world following the death of Sheikh Khalifa have been a source of comfort.

In a Tweet, Sheikh Mohamed said the outpouring of support have helped the family as they mourn the late president.

"This response is a testament to his far-reaching impact and the respect that was felt for him both at home and abroad," Sheikh Mohamed tweeted on Wednesday.

Leaders and dignitaries from around the world have travelled to Abu Dhabi over the past few days to pay their respects to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away on Friday, May 13.

Many others have also conveyed their condolences to Sheikh Mohamed via phone calls.
