Abu Dhabi sets up Centre to combat anti-social behaviour among youth

WAM

A new facility is being established in Abu Dhabi to combat anti-social behaviour among youth.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has issued the law number 22 of 2020, establishing Abu Dhabi Community Legal Awareness Centre, affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department.

The Centre called 'Masouliya' (meaning 'responsibility' in English) will focus on raising awareness of the negative impact and legal consequences of anti-social behaviour, including bullying, defamation, and inciting violence, as well as online or gaming addiction.

It will develop educational content around responsible behaviour, provide guidance to youth, and also arrange meetings with families.
