16 food outlets in Ajman shut for flouting safety rules

Authorities in Ajman have shut 16 food outlets in Masfout for violating public heath and safety rules.

Another 979 establishments were issued warnings, while 129 others were fined by the Inspection and Control Unit at the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department.

As many as 3,845 inspections were carried out with the authority warning that safety checks will increase during the holy month of Ramadan.
