More passengers travelling through Abu Dhabi International Airport

Passenger numbers at Abu Dhabi International Airport are on the rise. That’s according to Abu Dhabi Airports, which is reporting a 14.1% increase in passenger traffic in January compared to the same time last year. More than 2.1 million people travelled through the airport last month. Bangkok, London Heathrow, Doha, Mumbai and Jeddah accounted for the bulk of passengers. The rise in numbers is being attributed to the ongoing expansion of Etihad Airways' operations.
