Welcome message ahead of Popes' arrival

The UAE is set to embrace 2019 as the Year of Tolerance, and what better way to start than a visit from the Pope?

Pope Francis arrives in the Emirates tomorrow, Sunday 3rd February.

Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, the UAE's Minister of Tolerance tweeted this message in honour of his visit.

This will be The Pontiff's first ever visit to the Gulf region.

Meetings are set to take place in Abu Dhabi with various leaders of religious faiths, as they come together to support and promote values and principles of human fraternity across the globe.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the Pope's mass on Tuesday 5th February in the capital at Zayed Sports City Stadium.
