UAE grants AED 184 million for Comoros Island projects

The UAE is stepping up support for development projects in the Comoros.

AED 184 million are being spent on sectors such as health, education, transport, water and electricity.

The programmes are being funded by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, which has been active in the Comoros since 1979.

An agreement was signed between the sides during a visit by a UAE delegation to the archipelago.
