Sheikh Mohamed fulfills woman's dream of owning a house

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has fulfilled the dream of a young woman by gifting her a house.

Wheelchair-bound Rita Hajjar had made an emotional appeal on the telly after her landlord threatened to evict her from her Beirut home.

An apartment with all the state-of-the-art facilities was handed over to the 30-year-old by the UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi.

That's not all. She was also extended an invitation as a guest of honour at Abu Dhabi's Special Olympics games in March.

The Lebanese national thanked the UAE and Sheikh Mohamed for the noble gesture.
