Currently, there are no plans for visitors heading to Expo 2020 Dubai to vaccinate against COVID-19.

That's according to Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, director-general of Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau and UAE Minister of State for International Co-operation, who spoke exclusively to Dubai Eye 103.8's Business Breakfast on Wednesday.

However, all teams working at Expo 2020 Dubai and international participants will be fully vaccinated, with PCR tests mandatory for all performers coming on site.

Al Hashimy added that while vaccinations will not be necessary to access the Expo site, it is encouraged.
