Dubai sees 66 accidents due to rainy conditions

As many as 66 traffic accidents were recorded in Dubai on Monday over a three-hour period.

That’s according to Dubai Police, who say the spike in incidents happened between 6 am to 9 am.

Over 1,800 emergency calls were also reported during the same period.

Officials are reminding motorists to keep a safe distance between vehicles and to avoid driving in the rain in desert areas.

Authorities have also stepped up emergency response measures to deal with incidents in mountainous areas.
