At least 20 killed in Philippines church bombing

At least 20 people have been killed in twin bombings during a church service in the southern Philippines.

According to reports, the first explosion happened during the Sunday service at the Jolo Cathedral in the Sulu Province in Mindanao, while the second device was detonated in the car park as soldiers responded to the first attack. 

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which has left over 80 people injured. 

It comes just days after the region voted for greater autonomy in a referendum.
