Aid restrictions impact 50,000 people in Myanmar

A clampdown on aid activities in Myanmar's Rakhine State is impacting at least 50,000 people. That's according to a United Nations internal note obtained by Reuters.

A military crackdown in 2017 resulted in over 700,000 Rohingyas fleeing into neighbouring Bangladesh.

And regional officials say aid restrictions have been put in place this month because of security reasons.
