Dubai resident tries to take his own life. Hear his story.

UAE resident Chris Haill tried to end his life on January 2 at his home in Dubai.

A series of unfortunate incidents led him to that moment, when he took that painful decision.

Luckily for Chris, a friendly pair of eyes on social media alerted Dubai Police and he was rescued in the nick of time.

Dubai Eye 103.8’s The Agenda were fortunate to have Chris in the studio, sharing his experience and talking about the importance of recognising the signs of depression and seeking treatment.

If you know anyone suffering from depression and having thoughts of suicide, please contact the Dubai Police non-emergency number 901, approach a mental health professional, or join a support group.
