Here's why some UAE schools will close early today

Parents take note - some schools in the UAE will be closing early Tuesday.

The move has been taken to allow fans to support the UAE as they take on Qatar in the AFC Asian Cup semi-finals.

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Education and Knowledge (Adek) has announced that all public and private will close two hours early.

If you're living in another emirate, check with your child's school if there are any changes to their timings today.

Kick-off from the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi is at 6:00 pm.
