The emirate has announced that it exceeded its target of welcoming a million visitors in 2018.

UAE residents made up close to 40 per cent of overall visitors.

Meanwhile, Germany continues to be the leading international market source followed by Russia and the UK.

In total, the emirate welcomed 1,072,066 visitors last year, exceeding their plan set to attract one million visitors by 2018.

Helped by the launch of the world’s longest zip line, Ras Al Khaimah has quickly made a name for itself as one of the fastest growing adventure tourism destinations in the region.
