New Zealander Brandy Scott starts her day at the alarming hour of 3.45am. To prepare for the show’s start at 6am, she’s in the Dubai Eye studios by 5am going through the news wires and newspapers to research the big stories that broke overnight. But her day doesn’t end when the show finishes at 9am; Brandy then hits the phones tracking down new talent for the next day’s show. It’s lights out for her at 9pm because “breakfast radio is not particularly good for the social life,” she explains.
Brandy says the best part of her job is that she is “lucky enough to be paid to speak to some of the top people working in the UAE and beyond”, including business gurus such as Stephen Covey and Tom Peters, the infamous Nick Leeson and a 'charming' Bertie Ahern. |
